The Yale Child Study Center and Yale Department of Psychiatry is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in the area of health care equity and social justice. Specifically, the individual in this position will have the opportunity to develop and implement curricula around issues of social justice as these apply to behavioral health care for adults and children and families and to work closely with faculty overseeing behavioral health training programs for physicians, psychologists, and social workers. The individual in this position should also have a line of scholarship that he/she will develop with mentorship by faculty in the Child Study Center and Department of Psychiatry. Eligible candidates may have an M.D. with specialization in child and/or adult psychiatry, a J.D. with specialization in health care law, or a Ph.D. with specialization in public health, sociology, anthropology, economics, organizational psychology, or other disciplines focused on issues of health care equity, policy, and/or economics.
