We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in the department Cell Biology to investigate the following areas:
• functions of adult intestinal and colonic stem cell populations in maintaining homeostasis and in tumorigenesis;
• impact of genetic factors and nutritional environment on functioning of different intestinal stem cell populations, their reprogramming and underlying epigenetic alterations, and accumulation of mutations
Ph.D or M.D. required. Experience required in cell and molecular techniques: e.g., cloning, engineering genetic constructs, use of transgenic and knockout mice, gene expression and epigenetic analyses, experience with single cell techniques a plus.
Availability: immediately, or start date in the next several months
Salary: commensurate with experience
