A postdoc position is available in the Korkut lab at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (UTMDACC). We (www.korkutlab.org) aim to understand mechanisms of resistance to immune and targeted therapies and discover combination therapies to overcome or forestall the resistance in cancer. Our unique approach combines drug perturbation and profiling experiments with advanced computational analyses.
Postdoc candidates should have background in cancer and cell biology. We welcome candidates with an experimental background who are willing to learn computational biology. For all candidates, a good understanding of cancer biology and drug response mechanisms is highly preferred.
