The Marist College Department of Environmental Science and Policy seeks candidates for a one-year position as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Environmental Science to begin in fall 2019.
Doctorate in a related field from an accredited university.
The primary responsibility for this position is undergraduate course instruction. The load is a 4/4, with laboratory courses counting the same as class time. Course assignments are somewhat flexible depending upon the expertise of the chosen candidate. Supervision of student research is supported and highly encouraged.
Past teaching experience at the undergraduate level is strongly preferred. The department prefers applicants with an active, high quality research agenda conducive to involving students in research, with the possibility of peer reviewed publication.
