We invite you to apply for a Postdoctoral Appointee position with our Chemical Sciences and Engineering Division (CSE).
Under the guidance of a supervisor, you will conduct research in homogeneous and supported inorganic and organometallic catalysis for the activation and functionalization of small molecules. The project will involve designing, synthesizing, and characterizing new metal-ligand complexes, supporting these complexes onto metal oxides or other support materials, and evaluating the catalytic activity of these materials for the activation and functionalization of light hydrocarbons and other small molecules. This research program will include studies towards understanding reaction mechanisms through reaction kinetics analysis and other physical organic and inorganic techniques.
