Performs basic or applied research of a limited scope, primarily using existing theories and methods. Assists the supervisor in the interpretation and publication of results and grants. Maintains the laboratory and may exercise functional supervision over supporting research staff. Primary responsibility is ensuring that the research is complete. This position is supervised by Professor Chowdhury.
The candidate must have at least completed Ph.D. on the day of joining Northeastern University.
Knowledge of software defined networks, wireless networks, communications and algorithms design are critical for the successful candidate. Additionally he/she must have expertise in conducting packet level simulations, graduate student advising and FPGA programming. A sound experimental/systems-level background is
required. The candidate must also have proficiency in tools like queuing theory and optimization.
