Job Description
Summary
The Kommagani laboratory in the Department of Pathology at Baylor College of Medicine seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral Associate position. The selected candidate will involve a multi-disciplinary research team to focus on gynecological pathology research. The specific goals to utilize mice and clinical samples for advanced methods to understand the cellular and molecular factors that are altered in reproductive diseases.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts research experiments related to gynecological pathologies.
- Collects, analyzes, and documents experiment results.
- Performs different cell and molecular biology studies using mice and primary cells.
- Documents results of experiments and reports to principal investigator.
- Conducts literature searches and summarize information for ongoing projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required,
Preferred Qualifications
- A PhD in life sciences obtained within the last 2 years.
- Experience in reproductive biology research.
