Job Description
The Department of Biochemistry at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of SUNY, located at the downtown campus, has an open NIH funded Postdoctoral position in Dr. Michael Buck research lab to study how epigenetics impacts gene regulation and expression. Projects include determining how developmental transcription factors bind at nucleosome occluded regulatory regions with genomic assays (ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq) and in vitro nucleosome binding assays. The postdoc will have freedom to design and implement their own research project.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics or a related field.
Salary Range $50,000 - $60,000
