This funded project has the potential to make important contributions to learning and memory in vivo. We invite applications from highly motivated, collaboratively minded individuals with a Ph.D. or equivalent. A broad range of techniques from the molecular/cellular to the systems level will be employed, including molecular biology, in vivo imaging, mouse genetics, Ca2+ imaging, behavior, and multidimensional analysis. The successful candidate will have experience with molecular biology and experience and/or demonstrated interest in some subset of the other techniques.
The training environment in the group is excellent. Baylor College of Medicine is located in the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world consisting of 54 institutions.
