This position seeks insights into metabolomic profiles of bladder cancer, metabolic markers for tumor progression and novel therapeutic target identification. The ideal candidate will be a recent M.D, or PhD with a relevant background either in Oncology and Molecular biology. The applicants are expected to be highly motivated, self-starters with with strong bench skills and that can work independently. Previous research experience in cancer research and metabolomics is a plus but not necessary. Up to date knowledge and skills with contemporary molecular biology skills (e.g., cell culture,siRNA gene silencing, gene cloning, Q-PCR, immunoblot analyses, IP-western, kinase assay, and mammalian cell transfection techniques, DNA/RNA work) as well as animal experience is required. Peer reviewed first author publications in the field of prostate or breast cancer is a must.
