The Department of Chemical Engineering at Drexel University is actively recruiting for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Scientist. The Scientist will perform molecular dynamics simulations of novel thermosetting systems addressing scientific questions pertinent to using thermosets in additive manufacturing applications.
Develop and perform molecular dynamics simulations and free-energy calculations in thermoset systems.
Assist PI and PhD student with software development for conducting such simulations.
Communicate findings and conclusions in scholarly publications and presentations.
Collaborate with PhD student and other scientists at Drexel, Rowan, Army Research Lab, and PPG Industries and other duties assigned.
Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar.
Experience with high-performance scientific computing (XSEDE or similar) is strongly preferred.
