A postdoctoral position is available to qualified applicants in the laboratory of Dr. Janko NikolichZugich in the Department of Immunobiology, College of Medicine, and University of Arizona. Qualified applicants will provide expertise to analyze complex flow cytometry, transcriptomic and proteomic/metabolomic datasets to enhance understanding of immune aging and late-life homeostasis of the immune system. Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct data analysis from various experimental datasets, including but not limited to, transcriptome, immunome, proteome and metabolome of different immune and supporting cell types.
Cross-correlate and integrate results from different types of analysis and report on findings. Together with PI, formulate hypotheses on new pathways underlying immune aging.
Receive training in wet-lab immunological techniques and perform experiments to validate above hypotheses.
Participate and/or attend departmental functions and lectures.
Additional duties as assigned.
