Job DescriptionA postdoc position in immunology or molecular biology at Cornell University is available immediately in the research group of Prof. Shaoyi Jiang, Robert S. Langer ’70 Family and Friends Professor, Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY 14853.
A Ph.D. in immunology, molecular biology or equivalent is required. Research experience in cancer immunology, vaccine, autoimmune diseases, protein engineering, genetic engineering, or gene editing is desirable. Research projects may involve (a) the study of the immunological response from nanomaterials for drug delivery and from biomaterials for tissue engineering, (b) the design, development and application of immunomodulating materials for anti-tumor immunotherapy or antigen-specific tolerance, (c) protein biosynthesis in mammalian and bacterial cells or (d) viral and non-viral gene delivery and editing.
