We have an immediate opening for a motivated, and qualified Postdoctoral Fellow position in the Dr. Rezaee Laboratory, Center for Pediatric Research in the Department of Inflammation and Immunity at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute. Individuals with experience and knowledge of techniques in all of the above listed technical skills are encouraged to apply.
Must be familiar with cultivation of multiple cell lines, primary airway epithelial cells, Western blotting, RNA based methods including quantitative PCR and reporter assays, subcloning between different vectors, and the Crispr/ Casp9 system. Must be familiar with working with rodents, including intratracheal inoculation, isolation of airway cells and immunohistochemistry. Excellent communication skills in English are essential. The successful candidate will be expected to design, implement and manage research projects addressing cellular response to viral infection and pollutions. The appointee will be expected to take advantage of this career opportunity to develop skills in manuscript publication and grantsmanship.
Ph.D. or M.D. Ph.D. with relevant laboratory experience is required. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
