Job Description
Postdoctoral Associates are trainees working in an apprenticeship mode in preparation for a career as a scientific professional.
Will lead the effort in analysis of interactions between different cortical areas in the visual system to decipher the principles of information transfer along the visual hierarchy:
- Hesign data pipelines and interfaces that link the neurophysiology data collected by Andreas Tolias lab and the anatomical connectivity data collected and analyzed by collaborators.
- Design and implement experiments and analyze and publish results in collaboration with post docs and students in the lab.
- Lead the analysis of functional characterization and anatomical connectivity of cortical circuits from large-scale recordings.
- Help with production of figures for grant proposals and manuscripts.
- Education Required: MD or Ph.D in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- Experience Required: None Required.
- Certification/Licenses/Registration: None Required.
- Experience in in vivo two-photon imaging.
