Job Description
Job Purpose
Postdoctoral Associates are trainees working in an apprenticeship mode in preparation for a career as a scientific professional.
Job Duties
- Lead a project on the role of deglycosylation in animal development and human disease pathogenesis.
- Design and perform experiments using cellular, Drosophila and mouse models and to interpret the data.
- Prepare manuscripts and presentations to communicate our observations to the scientific community.
- Assist the PI in preparing grant applications and training the next generation of scientists.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
