Job Description
An immediate opening is available for a Postdoctoral Fellow position (or higher) in the Lin laboratory, Department of Inflammation and Immunity at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute. We are seeking highly motivated candidates who are interested in translational medical research. The lab is well-funded with multiple grants from the NIH and other sources. Candidates with prior experience and knowledge of techniques in Molecular Immunology, and with expertise in cell and animal models of autoimmune diseases and tumors are encouraged to apply.
Must be familiar with cultivation of multiple cell lines and primary cells. Flow cytometry, western blotting, ELISA, lenti- retro- and adenoviral systems of shRNA delivery, expression of exogenous proteins, and the Casp9/Crispr system. Experience in murine models of autoimmune diseases such as EAE and/or EAU as well as tumor models is an advantage. The successful candidate will be expected to design, implement and manage research projects addressing roles of complement and/or CD6 in human diseases.
A Ph.D. or M.D. degree with relevant laboratory experience is required. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required. Candidates at both junior and senior levels are welcome to apply.
