A Postdoctoral Fellowship positions is available at Department of Radiation Physics, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA.
Candidates should hold a PhD degree in Physics.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in experimental physics. Experience in X-ray diffraction calculation methods is highly desirable. Due to the cross-disciplinary nature of the research, experience with multiphysics simulation software such as COMSOL, CAD software such as Solidworks, Monte Carlo Simulation packages such as GEANT4, scripting languages such as Python and MatLab is also desirable.
The appointed postdoctoral fellow will work with a team of highly accomplished physicists on the development of a novel radiation therapy delivery system.
This position is renewable annually upon satisfactory performance. The pay scale follows the current NIH postdoc salary standard.
