Job Description
A post-doctoral fellow position is immediately available for a recent (no more than 3 years postdoctoral experience) Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. in biochemistry, genetics, immunology, cancer biology or a similar field, to work on epigenetic regulation and the DNA Damage response in normal and malignant hematopoiesis. An excellent publication record (only candidates with one or more first-authored publications in a high impact journal(s) will be considered), along with experience in generating/characterizing mouse models, flow cytometry, retroviral transduction, mammalian cell culture and next generation sequencing is required. Previous experience in scientific writing or grant preparation in English is required.Our lab is a part of the Center for Cancer Epigenetics at MD Anderson Cancer Center and we continue to advance our efforts to define how Epigenetic Regulation and the DNA damage response contribute to normal hematopoiesis as well as drive malignant transformation in Blood Cancers. https://www.mdanderson.org/research/departments-labs-institutes/labs/santos-laboratory.html
