Job DescriptionUnder the direction of the Principal Investigator, the postdoctoral fellow will include maintaining the lab database, performing data analysis, interpreting data, as well as presenting research questions and outcomes. Duties include work on several projects, including research on racial disparities in time to immunotherapy initiation in cancer patients using National Cancer Database; investigation of primary malignancies risk in cancer patients in modern systemic therapy era using the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database; and research investigating the impact of young and old tumor microenvironment on tumor-associated macrophages by single cell RNA sequencing. Additional duties include reporting research progress during lab meetings, writing and submitting scientific manuscripts, and completing various degree-related and knowledge-enhancing research objectives, such as learning and implementing new data analysis approaches for translational and immunological cancer treatment.
