Job DescriptionThe laboratory of Dr. Michael Green at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a highly qualified and motivated candidate for an open postdoctoral fellow position. The project is focused on exploring the role of the DTX1 E3 ubiquitin ligase and NOTCH1 in the etiology of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The project will employ advanced CRISPR gene editing and next generation sequencing technology, novel transgenic animal models, patient-derived xenograft models, and other primary patient material to understand the role of DTX1 mutations in lymphoma genesis and progression
The Green lab is part of the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma and the Department of Genomic Medicine, which offer a highly translational research environment. The lab is well funded through the NIH/NCI, research consortia and other funding mechanisms, and is highly productive. Dr. Green places strong emphasis on trainee mentorship and career development. Applicants should have graduated with their PhD no earlier than 2020 and must have experience with molecular biology. Experience with animal models and/or next generation sequencing and/or bioinformatics is desirable. Interested applicants are invited to submit a C.V. and cover letter.
