Are you an early career researcher looking for your first challenge? Do you have a background in Physical Activity and/or Sport and Exercise Science? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?
Working in close collaboration with a range of stakeholders you will contribute to the continued development and assessment of a community-based programme of dance to increase physical activity in older people across Yorkshire. ‘Dance On’, a Sport England funded project, is delivered across Bradford, Doncaster and Leeds and to date has engaged with over 700 people. This role will see the candidate analyse a range of data to assess the effectiveness of this programme, in addition to contributing to the development of new avenues of research and/or a new focus of the Dance on programme.
You should have a PhD (or close to completion) in Physical Activity or a closely allied discipline, with experience in analysis of quantitative data, specifically questionnaire data.
