Job Description
Summary
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow who will work in an apprenticeship mode under Dr. Chadi Calarge in preparation for a career as a scientific/medical professional in child and adolescent psychiatry.
Job Duties
- Acquires necessary skills to carry out brain imaging analyses for structural and functional imaging.
- Acquires necessary skills to carry out analyses for physical activity monitoring.
- Acquires necessary skills to carry out analyses for electrophysiological data.
- Assists with clinical assessment.
- Administers neuropsychological tasks and symptoms rating scales.
- Writes manuscripts to report on research findings and to pursue opportunities to present local and national scientific meetings.
- Completes data collections for research visits.
- Follows up on regulatory matters including pursing any actions to ensure participants safety.
- Consents participants for research studies.
- Shares relevant information with participants primary providers.
- Follows up on laboratory tests obtained in the context of the study.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD).
