Job Description
The laboratory of Dr. Dmitry Kurouski at the Texas A&M University, Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics seeks to recruit a Technician or a Postdoctoral Fellow with an experience in protein expression and purification.
Responsibilities:
We anticipate the successful candidate to develop methods for expression of amyloidogenic proteins such as a-Synuclein and Tau; express and purify these proteins. Kurouski laboratory possesses all required instrumentation (PCR and qPCR, ÄKTA pure, gel imager, etc). The Technician or Postdoc will receive NIH level salary and all benefits of Texas A&M University. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to develop their own research projects, learn and advance molecular methods of analysis and spectroscopic skills.
Credentials and Qualifications:
Experience in protein expression and purification.

The laboratory is located in the main campus of Texas A&M University (College Station, TX). We are around 2-2.5 hours away from Houston, Dallas and Austin.
