Job Description

We are seeking a postdoctoral associate to join the Building Informatics Group (BIG) in the Department of Architecture and Architectural Engineering at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea.

Position Summary
The successful candidate will be a researcher with high interests at the intersection between computing and architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) and will work on projects relating to the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in AEC. The position requires a strong background in at least one of natural language processing, image processing, meta-learning, few-shot learning, reinforcement learning, and/or knowledge graphs. The appointment will initially be for one year and renewable on satisfactory performance.

Campus Location
Yonsei University is located in the center of Seoul, close to several other major educational institutions as well as culturally rich areas of the city.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in architectural or construction engineering or AI-related fields and have published at least two journal papers as lead authors.
Candidates must have no problems physically staying and working at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea during the employment period.
