Job Description
Summary
This Postdoctoral Research Position is for study of mechanisms of stress granule function that activate distinct arms of innate immunity. This position will investigate mechanistic aspects of innate immune signaling through TDRD3, including interacting proteins, and mechanisms of activation dependent on protein arginine methylation. Experience is required in stress granule dynamics, innate immune signaling and TDRD3 biology.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
- Evaluates and analyzes data.
- May establish new research protocols and procedures.
- Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
- May be responsible for laboratory operations.
- May supervise research staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education Required: MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- Experience Required: None Required.
