Job Description
Summary
Postdoctoral Associate is working on the project "STRUCTURAL VARIATION IN NEUROLOGICAL DISEASE". Position will be performing array screening and breakpoint mapping of de novo CNVs in multiple de novo CNVs cases to extensively characterize breakpoint junction regions in term of their genomic architecture and common features and to identify mutations in proteins that can play a role in the initiation and selection of pathogenic variants and quantitative phenotypic analyses of Robinow syndrome.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
- Evaluates and analyzes data.
- May establish new research protocols and procedures.
- Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
- May be responsible for laboratory operations.
- May supervise research staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education Required: MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- Experience Required: None Required.
