Job DescriptionThis Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be responsible for the development of various biologic and bioconjugate therapeutics. This position will require knowledge and experience with modern techniques in protein expression, synthetic organic chemistry, chemical analysis, and chemical biology. Written and/or oral reports on research progress will be required on a quarterly and annual basis. This position may also involve overseeing research conducted by other staff members in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
Perform studies associated with grants, contracts and subcontracts.
Plan and execute studies to design and synthesize biologic and bioconjugate therapies being developed in the lab. This includes mentoring other lab members assisting with experiments in this area.
Develop new lines of research and design experiments that will further them.
Participate in novel research activities associated with on-going research projects and pilot studies for new projects.
Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations.
Participate in the overall function of the lab by performing housekeeping duties and assisting in the delegation of such duties.
Author or co-author publications; present results at meetings and/or conferences.
