We are looking to hire synthetic chemists and microbiologists for research projects associated with the development of new antibiotics and ways to integrate bacteria with electronic materials. Expertise in electrochemistry would be an additional plus. The work will be done in the newly established Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials and in collaboration with NUS Medical School. Our group has an excellent record of success with its members securing academic positions around the world (45+) and in translating basic science findings into startup companies (5).
