This postdoctoral research assistant role is to offer bespoke support to the professoriate of the School of Performance and Cultural industries, currently numbering three senior researchers, Professors, Alice O’Grady, Jonathan Pitches and Ben Walmsley. The successful applicant will work closely with each researcher, tailoring support to their respective needs, at any moment in the academic calendar. They will also form an important contact point for the growing postdoctoral community in the School, facilitating a mentoring programme, and contributing to the further enhancement of the School’s research culture. Specific disciplinary knowledge of the individual’s research fields is not necessary, but an ability to work across performance and cultural industries research, and support its continued growth, is essential.
