Summary
The Zoghbi Laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate.
Job Duties

Evaluates the transcriptional changes in three genotypes in our lab (WT, Atxn1154Q/+, and Atxn1154QmAXH/+) and works with the collaborating lab who will characterize the NLS mutant line using RNA from four regions that contribute to SCA1 pathogenesis based on human data: cerebellum, hippocampus, striatum, and brainstem49,63,64.

Performs nuclear IP-MS (using our monoclonal Atxn1 antibody that we have validated for IP21) using WT, Atxn12QmAXH/2QmAXH and Atxn1-/- lysates from hippocampus, striatum, cerebellum and brain stem on three biological replicates.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
