Job Description
Postdoctoral Fellow in Neural Mechanisms and Treatment of Adolescent Mood Disorder, Sleep, and Suicide Risk - Drs. Peter Franzen PhD and Tina Goldstein PhD in the Department of Psychiatry, Western Psychiatric Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine seek a postdoctoral fellow to collaborate on several large, longitudinal NIMH- and foundation-funded studies examining adolescent mood disorder, suicide risk, and underlying mechanisms, with a specific focus on sleep and neural mechanisms. Our program of research aims to apply this knowledge to inform prevention and intervention. Our multidisciplinary research team also includes statisticians, neuroscientists, data scientists and physicians with expertise in longitudinal data analysis, neuroimaging, sleep medicine, and behavioral treatment.

Qualifications or Expectations:
- Demonstrated commitment to a clinical science career
- Experience and interest in fMRI and other psychophysiological data processing and analysis is of particular interest, as is the desire and ability to collaborate with existing multidisciplinary teams
- Ph.D. or M.D. with a focus on clinical science and/or neuroscience
- Strong candidates will have a promising record and strong interest in adolescent mood disorders and related methods and measures
- Strong interest in data analysis and publishing manuscripts as a part of training
