Job Description
One postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Q. Jane Wang to work on a NIH-funded research project in the area of protein kinase signaling in prostate cancer at the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology, University of Pittsburgh. The project focuses on understanding the mechanisms of protein kinase signaling, functional evaluation in mouse models of prostate cancer, and development of protein kinase-targeted cancer therapies.
Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent in a related field, solid training in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, signal transduction, and strong written communication skills. Knowledge and experience with rodent models of cancer are desirable. The salary is based on NIH Guidelines and commensurate with skills and experience. The initial appointment is for one year and can be extended on a yearly basis upon mutual agreement.

Qualifications or Expectations:
- Require a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline Ability to conduct research experiments. Demonstrate adequate scientific writing skills. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Duties or Responsibilities:
