Postdoctoral research in 3D genome organization, chromatin biology, and lncRNAs of brain development and disease.
- University of California, San Francisco
- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Job Number: 7115831
- Posting Date: Nov 10, 2022
- Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
Job DescriptionAre you curious about the role of genome architecture and nuclear compartments in neural stem cells and neurons? Perhaps interested in how chromatin regulators influence 3D genome organization and gene expression in brain cells? What about the function of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in brain development and disease? We develop new molecular tools to study these topics at both the systematic level (e.g., with CRISPR-based functional screens) and also employ more traditional molecular-genetic approaches.

If you’re interested in postdoctoral research in our lab here at UCSF, we have positions available!
Candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and a strong background in molecular/cell biology, neurodevelopment, chromatin biology, lncRNAs, computational biology, or biochemistry. Please send your curriculum vitae, three names of reference, and a one-page summary of research background and interests to me, Daniel Lim ([email protected]). Mentorship of lab members is a top priority of mine.
