Job Description
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research program on understanding how cellular stress adaptation and stress granules contribute to pancreatic cancer. Our research ranges from fundamental molecular mechanisms and organelle biology to clinical applications utilizing high-resolution imaging, molecular and cellular biology, 3D cell culture, flow cytometry, omics studies, and mouse models. A major goal of the lab is to study how obesity promotes of tumorigenesis and the role of stress granules in this process and in the reprogramming of the immune microenvironment. Requirements
Candidates should have a recent PhD or MD/PhD degree in cancer biology, cancer immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, or a closely related field. Prior experiences with imaging, flow cytometry, proteomics, and animal work are preferred. Successful candidates will join a highly motivated, engaging, and energetic research group and a diverse and supportive research community at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University.
