Position Summary
The Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope is looking for a talented Postdoctoral Fellow.The T Cell Therapeutics Research Laboratory (TCTRL) overseen by Stephen Forman, M.D., is a fast-paced lab involved in cutting edge technology, research and clinical immunotherapeutic programs. The TCTRL currently has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow who will develop chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapies. The postdoctoral candidate will ideally have experience in the fields of viral specific T cells and HIV. This position will interact and collaborate with a team of research scientists with similar interests in developing T cell therapies.
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- PhD degree with research experience in the fields of protein engineering, and/or cancer biology; a publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Ability to effectively develop a project in a translational research environment to successfully meet project goals.
- Ability to design and execute experiments, critically interpret experimental results, and present data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to participate in the preparation of IND submissions, grant applications and scientific publications.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $31.00 - $34.23 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
