Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Guo Laboratory at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. The position will be supported by an NIH-funded project investigating the role of cancer stemness in metastasis. The fellow will study the regulation of stemness by metastatic microenvironment and its role in metastatic colonization. The project is built on our recent findings in normal/cancer stem cells, cell plasticity, and metastasis (Nature Cell Biology 25(1):145-158; Cell Reports 31: 107742; Cell Reports 18: 2825-2835; Cell Reports 16: 3146-3156; Cell 148: 1015-1028; Cell 133, 704-715). The project will use a wide range of technologies, including genomics/epigenomics methods, CRISPR genome editing, organoid culture, and in vivo mouse models. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with other Einstein laboratories in the program project, hence having ample opportunities to interact with leading experts in the metastasis field.
