Job Description
The Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine in the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso seeks highly motivated candidates for two Post-Doctoral Research Associate positions. The incumbent of these positions will conduct research in the laboratory of Dr. Dhandayuthapani, within the Center of Infectious Diseases, to develop vaccines against tuberculosis. Candidates for these positions are expected to have a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and a strong background in immunology, small animal research, cell culture, and flow cytometry. Candidates with prior experience working with Mycobacterial pathogens in Biosafety Level 3 (BSL3) facility will be preferred.
