Job Description
An NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately in the Chen lab at the School of Medicine, University of Louisville. The Chen lab uses a combination of state-of-the-art approaches, including RNA-seq and CRISPR/Cas9, which are integrated with stem cells, brain organoids, and in vivo mouse and zebrafish models to elucidate the epigenetic mechanisms underlying Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. Highly self-motivated and productive individuals with a strong background in molecular biology are strongly encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise and background in basic cellular and molecular biology techniques, including primary cell culture, stem cell culture, qPCR, immunoblots, immunoprecipitation, sequencing, cloning and immunocytochemistry. Previous experience in working with stem cells or zebrafish model would be an asset.
