Job Description
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a postdoc associate in representation theory, combinatorics, or algebraic geometry (REQ # 23006790), to begin on September 1st in the Fall Term of 2024. The appointment is for a three-year term. Responsibilities include collaborating on research with related faculty members, teaching two courses each year, and participating in research seminars.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of a Ph.D. degree in mathematics or a closely related field is required prior to the start of the appointment. Applicants should have strong research potential and some form of experience teaching mathematics.
