Job Description
Postdoctoral positions in BREAST CANCER RESEARCH are available in the laboratory of Drs. Adrian Lee and Steffi Oesterreich (leeoesterreichlab.org) at the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Projects are in the areas of tumor metastasis, single-cell breast cancer genomics, endocrine resistance, tumor immunology, liquid biopsies, and invasive lobular carcinoma, and are executed through multi-disciplinary and cross-institutional collaborations. Projects in the Lee and Oesterreich Labs are funded by the NCI, and multiple foundations including Susan G Komen, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and Metavivor.
The Lee-Oesterreich lab is seeking competitive candidates who have earned a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Informatics, with or without prior postdoc experience and possess effective written and verbal English communication skills as well as outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience in cancer biology is highly desirable. Excellent skills in cell and molecular biology or computational biology are required. Salary is commensurate with experience and based on current NIH guidelines.
