This project aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge about the technology of floating photovoltaic generators operating in tropical regions such as Brazil, particularly in the area of characterization, performance evaluation, and impacts on evaporation and water quality. The results will contribute to the decision-making by investors, installers, and other stakeholders, specifically in aspects related to the generation calculation, quality control, and risk reduction, and the bankability of the project, contributing to the energy transition acceleration in the state of São Paulo and in the country.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected and approved candidate will be hired for 24 months and will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 9,047.40 monthly, and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
