The Center of Biosystems and Machines at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia has several laboratories. The Operations Management laboratory is currently seeking qualified candidates for post-doctoral fellow positions in Information Systems, Operations Management, Quality Assurance, and Health Informatics and Economics. Specifically, we are looking for individuals with experience in deploying and integrating AI systems into clinical services.
The laboratory is dedicated to enhancing AI integration into healthcare work systems to scale up its impact through clinical services. We aim to develop the most effective methods of utilizing AI systems and uncover novel applications of AI to improve provided value-based healthcare services.
The other laboratories at the Biosystems and Machines Center encompass a wide array of cutting-edge research domains. They focuse on developing sustainable research ecosystems for biomedical devices, covering prosthetics, orthotics, drug delivery systems, robotics, biomimicry, and more, integrating human-machine interface and machine learning. They aim to revolutionize healthcare through tailored treatments and explores the intersection of digital technologies and biomedicine.
Our laboratories bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering strong collaborations with prominent academic information systems and data analysts, as well as industry partners. This role presents a unique opportunity for the selected candidate to gain valuable experience in both academic and industrial settings, preparing them for future roles in either sector.
