The Basic Science Research Group of the Department of Dermatology at Columbia University is seeking two highly motivated postdoctoral research scientists with an interest in skin immunology and general T cell biology.

Successful candidates will be involved in research focused on mechanisms of T cell mediated autoimmune diseases of the skin, the role of the microbiome, antigen dependent and independent modes of T cell activation, and regulation and functions of T cells in human epithelial immunity.

Prospective applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., M.D. or doctoral equivalent in Immunology or a related field, and should possess strong laboratory, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with sterile cell culture, flow cytometry, cell isolation techniques and immunoassays, as well as knowledge of T cell biology, are preferred.
