Job Description
The laboratory of Dr. Tibor Rohacs is seeking a self-motivated, highly committed individual with a PhD, and/or MD degree, or equivalent to join our group as a postdoctoral fellow, to study the regulation of mechanically-activated Piezo2 ion channels by membrane lipids. https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2024.03.01.582964v1 (in press in Nature Communications). The position requires experience in patch clamp electrophysiology. The successful applicant will apply state-of-the-art molecular, electrophysiological and fluorescence-based tools and expected to have a strong desire to understand basic science, and to perform mechanistic studies.
