Postdoctoral Fellow in Tumor Immunology and Immunotherapy – Molgora Lab

The focus of the lab is the orchestration of the innate immune response in tumors, with a particular focus on macrophages. We aim to investigate the role of innate immune cells in both resistance and response to therapy, and elucidate their intricate interactions with the tumor microenvironment. The long-term goal is to identify novel therapeutic targets and strategies to enhance treatment efficacy.

- MD or PhD in Immunology or related topics, although we are happy to consider different backgrounds and trainings.
The Ideal Candidate:
- We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with passion for tumor immunology.
- Drive, enthusiasm and curiosity are key features.
- Substantial expertise in flow cytometry, single cell sequencing, cellular and molecular biology and in vivo work are suitable but not required.
- Bioinformatic experience is a plus. We will consider each candidate’s technical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Disposition to work in a collaborative group.
- Ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement research projects
- Potentially develop new research projects
- Collect robust and reliable data
- Manage technical and methodological aspects of the experimental design
- Write papers and grants
- Present at internal lab meeting, department meetings, as well as national and international conferences
- Proactively share and interact with other groups
Credentials and Qualifications:
- MD or PhD in Immunology or related field is required
- Should have at least one first Author publication.
