POST-DOCTORAL AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler, Tyler, Texas
Two or more post-doctoral positions and a research associate position are available immediately in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology, UT Tyler School of Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler, Texas, in the fields of hemostasis and thrombosis, inflammation, and cell signaling (NIH funded projects). Potential candidates for post-doctoral positions should have a Ph.D. degree in one of the following fields: Biology/Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent. Candidates for the research associate position should have a Master’s degree in science. Demonstrable experience in using modern biochemical, cellular, and molecular research techniques is required. Experience in mouse models, confocal microscopy, and immunohistochemistry is highly desirable. Research experience in blood coagulation, thrombosis, inflammation, cell signaling, and related areas is highly preferred but not required.
Salary will be based on qualification, experience, internal equity, and market.
The University of Texas Health Science Center is the health science component of the University of Texas at Tyler and a part of the internationally renowned University of Texas System. The research laboratories at UT Health Science Center are housed in a modern and renovated facility and equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation. Furthermore, as part of the UT system, we can avail of the latest equipment, core facilities, advanced technology, and consulting services available at other UT campuses (UT Southwestern, M.D. Anderson, UT Health Science Center Houston, UTMB Galveston, etc.).
