Job Description
Summary
The Palmer laboratory in the Department of Pathology at Baylor College of Medicine seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral Associate position. The selected candidate will involve a multi-disciplinary research team to focus on endometriosis. The specific goals to utilize mice and clinical samples for advanced methods to understand the mechanism of action of lead compounds.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts research experiments related to endometriosis.
- Collects, analyzes, and documents experiment results.
- Performs different cell and molecular biology studies using mice and primary cells.
- Documents results of experiments and reports to principal investigator.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in life sciences within at least 2 years of experience.
- Experience in drug discovery biology.
