Job Description
A postdoctoral researcher position is available in the Department of Physiology at UCLA in the joint labs of Drs. Yousang Gwack and Sonal Srikanth to study the role of calcium signaling in T cell-mediated immune responses. Our recent research also focuses on the cytoplasmic DNA sensing and inflammasome activation pathways in innate immune cells. The trainee will learn cutting-edge molecular biology and high-resolution imaging techniques, including RNAseq, genomics, confocal and STED microscopy. The trainee will also learn use of various in vivo animal models of autoimmunity, viral infections, and sepsis. Please refer to our publications for further information. Recent Ph.D. graduates with a strong background in biochemistry, cell biology, and immunology will be preferred.
