Job Description
Summary
The Postdoctoral Associate are trainees working in an apprenticeship capacity in preparation for a career as a scientific professional.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs, and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
- Evaluates and analyzes data.
- Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
- Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
- Maintainslaboratory operations.
- Supervises research staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates should have Ph.D. in life sciences and motivation for high-quality research.
- Experience with molecular/cellular biology, genetics or biochemistry is preferred.
- Prior experience in the following areas is preferred: histopathology, transcriptome profiling, advanced in vivo imaging in animal models, gene therapy, and drug delivery.
- Excellent (written and verbal) communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
